Have you ever felt overwhelmed when thinking about all the major problems in the world? If so, maybe this will resonate with you. We decided to focus on doing 1 specific good thing monthly and inviting close friends/family to participate. Why? Because it’s much less overwhelming to focus on something we can actually control. So would you be willing to help us turn a random good thing into a normal good thing? If so…please consider participating in the Invest Love Project!
Volunteering at Food4Lives is the highlight of my week! 5 stars. It’s soul enriching to serve yummy vegetarian meals to ATL’s homeless folks and also cultivate friendships with other volunteers. Take a couple hours out of your week to see for yourself. You might just leave a better person than you came ;)
I started volunteering here in 2018. Every Saturday (& some Sundays) we cook meals in West Midtown and take it to homeless people in Downtown area (Gateway Center & Hurt Park). It is purely volunteer based. The person who manages the entire soup kitchen, Veda, is an extremely selfless person and strives for the betterment of society's most needy population.
Good volunteers space. They make sure rights are done right way and always welcome with warm heart.
They Have Healthy Meals For The General Public For Adults, Children, Disabled, Seniors Citizens And The Homeless People. They Serve 7 Days A Week, Mondays- Sundays From 10:00 A.M.- 4:00 P.M.
